How can I help? You have two options for helping the Siouxland Trails Foundation improve the local trails. The best way is to donate money to our cause. The other one is to volunteer your time when projects or events occur.
As was stated above, a great way to help out is to simply donate money. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your cash donations are 100% tax deductible. Receipts are provided for donations over $250. Please send your contribution to the address below.

Siouxland Trails Foundation is always looking for volunteers. If you would like to become involved in improving the local trails, you
may contact either Bob DeSmidt at 712-233-3240 or send an email to webmaster@siouxlandtrails.org for further information.
STF puts on an annual event called the Tri-State Trails Tour. It is a bicycle ride that offers a choice of 3 routes on the trails in the tri-state region. This is our primary means of raising money that
is then used to fund the various projects for improvements to those trails. There are several items you can purchase in conjunction with the ride fee that go directly to our efforts. One is a post-ride meal, and the other one is a very cool T-shirt. We still have
some T-shirts from the past two rides that are for sale. Please see the list below, if you would like to purchase one. While every effort is made to keep the list accurate, no guarantees are made to availability.

If you would like to buy a t-shirt, please send a check or money order for the total amount of your purchase to the address above. Please include the Tour number, I or II, the size desired (also include a second size choice incase the first one is no longer available), and
the quantity. The mail box is checked on a regular basis, but please allow 4 to 8 weeks for delivery.

Tri-state Trails Tour V (May 17th)

Note New Starting Location at Marina Inn Center
in South Sioux City.
The Marina Inn is
offering a limited number of rooms at $79 for riders. Call 402-494-4000
and ask for the 'Trails Tour Rate'.
Camping is available at
the Scenic Park Campground in South Sioux City NE which is adjacent to
the Marina Center.

Iowa Park & Recreation Directors
Recognize Siouxland Trails Foundation
as the Lay Volunteer Organization of
the Year for the State of Iowa - for the second time, Siouxland Trails
Foundation has received statewide recognition for its efforts from the Iowa
Park and Rec Directors Association. Thank you, Terry Hoffman, Sioux City
Parks and Rec Director, for nominating us. This is indeed a humbling honor
that is shared by the riders and other donors who have funded STF as well as
the board and many other volunteers who believe in our mission of improving
trail opportunities in the Siouxland area. Thanks to everyone.
